Dormitory Olewig

The Olewig residence is located in the district of the same name and is home to 166 students.

All of the units are exclusively single apartments of approx. 18 m².

From the residence, it is a 10-minute bus journey up the hill to the uni; in the opposite direction, it is a 10-minute bus journey into the city centre.

The inner courtyard offers residents a large lawn with a relaxed BBQ and recreation area.

The surrounding district is well-known for its traditional wineries that are a great place to eat and drink and from which you get a great view of the vineyards and local hiking routes. This district also has various shops where you can buy the essentials.

here´s how it work´s

You can apply for our student residences online at any time. Applications are open to all matriculated students of Universität Trier, Hochschule Trier and Theologische Fakultät Trier.Forms will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Due to the high demand, the duration of stay is limited to eight semesters initially. It is possible to extend the rental period if the student can prove that they are in the final stage of their degree at this time.Applications from disabled students, students with children, foreign students and students receiving BAföG support will be processed as a prioriity.

Exchange students should contact the International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt der Hochschule) which is responsible for procurement of living space.
